Hoeve Herpoel is referring to the family name of the previous farmers. The building has been set up in 1920. It is a long type façade comprising stables and the barn under the same construction.
In 1989 the farm was sold to the actual owners, the family Planckaert-Derez, and farm activities are actually limited to a few sheep and other small animals. The stables were converted to a bedroom, the other one was converted in 2011 to the ‘Hoeve Herpoel’ accommodation.
The barn has been converted to a second accommodation in 2017.
